I always love to give you a little taste of what my clients are feeling after the Blush & Tease Experience. You hear me talk about it all the time. I blog about the nerves, I post about how I’ll walk you through the whole thing, I send out email blasts telling you why you shouldn’t let anything hold you back. Enough of me talking…let’s dive into a “That’s what she said” post to let you in on this client’s Q&A and give you a little glimpse of how she felt about her experience.

What was your favorite part of working with Adena?
Her communication! From her encouragement, energy and positivity she made the entire process seamless and fun!
Has this boudoir experience changed how you feel about yourself, and if so, how?
It made me feel like I have more curves. My nickname in middle school / high school was “stick” and the poses were soooo flattering and showed off my curves.
What did you think when you first saw your photos?
In shock and awe! When doing the session some of the poses feel awkward or funny but they turned out better than I could have imagined.
OK OK! Let’s talk about this boudoir wardrobe lineup!
When this babe came in for her planning meeting she had NO idea what to wear. After talking through what she wanted her shoot to feel like (think sensual and sassy with a side of downright HAPPY), I pointed her in the direction of a good variety of outfits and places to shop.
HEAR ME WHEN I SAY THIS…DO NOT let the words “I wouldn’t know what to wear” stop you from diving into this experience. First of all, I have LOTS of ideas (probably too many). Also, we will talk through your style and your budget to make sure your boudoir outfits are exactly what you want. Whether you have an unlimited budget or your an amazon girlie, whether you LOVE lingerie or would rather stay away from it…this experience is for you, trust me.
As she shopped and prepared, her outfits ended up being EXACTLY what I would have hoped. I mix of lingerie and NOT. Some simple pieces and some that blew me away. Ready to see?
First, a sweater with some panties. She chose to go topless under the sweater and it started the shoot off with the perfect amount of sass.
Next up…the lingerie! She spent some time at Femme Fatale and brought 2 GORGEOUS pieces that I could not get enough of. Seriously, I had to tell myself it was time to move onto the next outfit because I was having so much fun shooting them.
I love the color of the first one AND the intricate details of the lace with the leg harnesses just got me.

And this…pinstripe bodysuit with leg harnesses? Need I say more? It showed off her curves in a way that made our jaws hit the ground.
Next up, denim shorts and a white tank. Classic and BEGGING for a water shot!
Another classic boudoir piece that gave us plenty of room for creating art, a simple short sheer black robe.
And last, well, nothin’. Because what better way to end a boudoir shoot?
BUT WAIT! I have to add one more tip about the outfits that you bring to your shoot!!
I love when my clients show up for their experience all comfy cozy, their hair & makeup isn’t done, they feel all fresh and ready to start the day. But after stripping down and feeling your confidence go sky high, what are you going to wear OUT of the studio? I absolutely loved her outfit and I had to snag a few photos before she walked about the studio door. Confidence boost captured!
