Boudoir & Privacy – Denver Boudoir

One of the questions I hear most often from my boudoir clients is “Do you have to share my photos?”. The answer is simple…no. Your privacy matters deeply to me. I want every client to know, without a shadow of a doubt, that you are in complete control of where your photos go (or don’t go). Many women shy away from boudoir because they worry about privacy, and I want to put those fears to rest.

Boudoir & privacy can absolutely go hand in hand.

When you work with me for a Blush & Tease Experience we will go through my model release in detail. OF COURSE I love when I can share photos! Are you kidding? So if you sign a release you’ll probably see me do a little happy dance! But I NEVER expect that. The photos that we take are yours. We create the shoot just for you and it is 1000% your choice if I am allowed to share them with the world.

So every now & then I like to put together a little blog to celebrate some of my anonymous babes…a way to showcase the beauty of boudoir while keeping identities private.

Why Some Clients Keep Their Photos Private

There are so many reasons that my boudoir clients choose to not share their photos. The most common reason? Their career, which makes TOTAL sense. Sometimes its personal circumstance (no explanation needed) and often, its simply personal preference.

We always revisit your release after you’ve seen your photos to make sure your answers still feel right. (I mean, you have NO idea what your photos will look like until you see them!) I don’t know how often a client doesn’t feel comfortable with me sharing her photos and then once she sees them she changes her mind. When I ask why, its usually simple…”DO YOU SEE THESE?!” Haha, she finally realized that photos of her are worth sharing! (Psst…I knew it all along)

The Power of Anonymous Boudoir Photos

While some of my clients prefer to stay private, I do have a handful of babes who allow me to share anonymous photos. Basically, hide their face and share away! It is actually part of every shoot to make sure we get some photos like this. Anonymous photos are more like art than portraiture. Many clients even choose to them when we are designing wall art. It shifts the viewers perspective and I think they are incredibly powerful!

My Promise to You

Just hear me when I say this: No matter where you stand with the privacy of your boudoir photos, I promise I’ve got you covered! You have full control, always. I will walk you through every option with zero pressure so that you feel safe and empowered in your choice.

Your boudoir session is about so much more than photos…it’s about you, your story, and your comfort. Privacy is never an afterthought, it’s part of the experience.

BOUDOIR & PRIVACY – FAQs

Do I get to choose whether or not you share my boudoir photos?

Yes! You have full control and will sign a detailed release with permission to share OR not share your photos.

How detailed is your model release?

Very detailed (almost annoyingly detailed but that’s because I’m annoyingly protective). It covers things like: Can I share your photos? If so, which ones? And where can I share them? Maybe you are only comfortable with me showing them in person and keeping them offline. Maybe you’re ok with them being on my website, but not social media. We will go through all of the options and make sure you feel good about your level of privacy.

Can I wait until after I see my pictures to choose if you can share them?

Yes, absolutely.

Do you tag me in photos?

Never. While I do have a handful of clients who request to be tagged, my standard policy is to never tag my clients.
