It’s Monday and I have been at my desk checking things off my list. I happen to love Mondays. They feel fresh, I can gather my thoughts, set my intentions for the week and then jump right in. Today has been FULL of album designs and I’ve loved every second! It is so much fun to see my clients story come together. When I’m designing their album I get to think back to their planning meeting, what they love about their body, why they are doing this shoot. I get to relive shoot day, their favorite outfits, all of the laughs, when they NAILED that pose. Each step of the Blush & Tease Experience has its own moment to shine, but the album is going to be my clients reminder of that day, that woman, that feeling of being unstoppable! So as I dive into their boudoir album design I do it with so many things in mind. And although they have the final say on the layout, they can change anything up to make it absolutely perfect for them, I have found that once I have their favorite photos selected, the story really tells itself.
I thought it would be fun to start sharing some of my boudoir album designs on the blog! So I dug back a bit to find a past client who I just absolutely ADORE! She brought great outfits, she rocked the poses, and her grin makes my day every time I look at her photos! Let me walk you through some of my thoughts as this album came together.
This babe ordered a 10×10 Blush & Tease album. That size is my favorite because we can really share the story of the day. When I have my clients choose between the 8×8 or 10×10 album, it is really choosing to showcase your favorites (8×8) OR have a more storytelling vibe (10×10). We loved so many of these photos that we couldn’t narrow it down and it came out absolutely perfect!
I love for the beginning of the album to really feel a little subtle & flirty. My thought is that the first page will make you go, ohhhh funnnn!! Then as you turn the pages, the mood shifts. By the end of the album your jaw is on the floor. This babe’s album design did EXACTLY that!

Her next outfit was such a fun color! But I decided to start with a black & white spread to keep the mystery and then BAM! So playful!
Now that we’re about half way into the album design, do you see what I mean about the mood changing? This bombshell is smokin’ for SURE! Next, the bed photos. All of my clients know that these are the hardest to narrow down. Although the poses make you feel like a super model, so much of your unique personality shines through!
I loved her dark green bodysuit so much that we finished the shots on the bed and moved to the black velvet couch to create even more magic!
As we came to the end of her outfits during the shoot, I wanted to come up with one more look and it did not disappoint! We used the button up from outfit #2 and some of the leg harnesses I have in the studio to create something a little out of the box and it made this spread in her album feel so powerful!
When I’m finishing a boudoir album design, I like the focus to zero in on my client. No distractions. Photos in the sheets give us the best end to the story. And I’m a sucker for the album getting spicy and then ending with a giggle. Its a reminder that although these photos pushed you out of your comfort zone, made you feel like a goddess, showed off some fun outfits…it is still 100% YOU.
It feels like a mic drop!
